La cald (Warm Meals) is a project launched at the beginning of March 2022, driven by the need to actively support Ukrainian refugees by providing daily warm meals.

Working closely with local authorities, civil society, private companies, and dedicated volunteers, we managed in less than a week to create an efficient system capable of preparing up to 500 warm meals per day. We are in constant communication with CJCCI representatives and partner NGOs in Iași, who update us in real time about needs and requirements, allowing us to respond efficiently and avoid any unnecessary waste.

With the support of Kaufland România and the help of CIVICA, printco, and the restaurants Gran Gusto and Escape, we have provided so far 10,000 warm meals to ensure a safe and stable environment for Ukrainian citizens hosted in centers across Iași.
Among the official refugee locations where meals have been distributed are: Anastasie Panu, Iași Railway Station, UMF, Holboca, Egros, Aristocrat, Bizantiq, and the student dormitories T8 and T20.
